Facebook’s new challenge to Google with its ‘product ads’ tool

On Tuesday Facebook lunched new ‘product Ads’ feature to compete with Google’s product listing ads feature. This new advertising tool aimed to help businesses to sell their multiple products through all devices their consumers use.

Facebook representative wrote on their business blog, “Advertisers can curate ads as they see fit. For instance, they can highlight products that were viewed on their website/mobile app or showcase best-selling products. Or, they can create a multi-product ad that highlights the different benefits of a single product." Moreover, if any item goes out of stock then Facebook system will turn off the ad for that particular item.

Businesses like Target and Shutterfly.com already seen fruitful results from this new product.
