Google enters its foot into Indian Internet Service with ‘Project Loon’

With intention to provide internet service in every corner of the world, Google has started Balloon internet services and grab its first success in New Zealand.  Now Google is trying to establish this same service in India too. We all know that sometime before Facebook entered into the Indian market with internet.org and now Google is trying to target Indian market with its balloon internet service.

This balloon hangs at about 60,000 feet high from the earth’s surface and can stay for 100 days providing wireless internet service. In addition, it will not be affected, by any climate change in the atmosphere.

Currently India is facing an internet revolution and demand for internet is rapidly increasing in urban as well as rural areas. Google has taken a positive step with Project Loon and is expected to provide strong support to the revolution. Currently Google is experimenting the project with approx 50 Indian and is very soon expected to be available across India.

Google say’s “We believe that by 2016 we can start to launch in a commercial format something that allows us to have coverage on every square-inch of planet Earth,”
